Ambassadors Meeting

Well yesterday Karmen and I went to her monthly People to People meeting. I came home with a terrible headache. All of that traveling talk and everything we need to do, etc. gives me a bad bad headache. I get excited and then I get sad. Kim, Karmen's leader, was saying that next months meeting they will get their official pin and have a little ceremony. She said that some parents get emotional over that so be prepared. So I am thinking ...does that mean I need to stay home? I am already emotional! It will be her final meeting before their Bon Voyage Party. I can't believe it. When all of this first started it was like September and June seemed so far away. They have their own website and it is counting down the days,hours, minutes until departure. We found out that they will be traveling to Paris first and then London second. We kinda thought it would be the other way around...so I need to change my plane ticket cause I was just going to happen to be on a little vacation myself those two weeks. HA Just Joking Karmen! It truly is an honor for her to do this and to represent the United States. It is alot of work though. I guess that is why you get college/h.s. credit for it. She has homework every month, projects, community service, tests, etc. It is not all fun and games. Just wanted to say all of that and get it off my chest.
Of course every story that I tell leads into Hollywood somehow. :) On the way home from Nashville, Karmen and I were talking about her project that is due next month. They had to pick a topic that had to do with London or Paris. It could be food, culture related, museum, etc. You get the idea. So I mentioned fashion! Paris! Supermodels! Boutiques! Runways! So Karmen liked that idea and I can't wait to get started! Oops...I mean, Karmen can't wait to get started. HA Remember when Lauren and Whitney went to Paris?? O.k. enough.
