Hello there! There were so many good things to report last night ..that I just thought I would save it for this morning.
Here are a few of my favorites!

Out-of-control female juvenile, 200 block Marley Lane, 1:53 a.m. Female, 16, Seymour, was arrested as a runaway and for minor in possession of alcohol.
(First of all...a female that is out-of-control? Can you believe that? How many females do you know that is ever out-of-control? Just teasing...most females I know are usually out-of-control...especially at 16 years old!)

Suspicious activity involving lights that "keep going on and off," 200 block Central Avenue, 10:11 p.m.
(o.k. I need to tell you that I write this exactly how they are in the paper. Can you believe some of the things that they say? Why couldn't the paper just say, "suspicious activity"? Why do they have to make the person look like a fool in the paper? Now everyone is going to think that this person is either drunk, on drugs or believe in ghosts)

Family fight between a mother and a daughter, 200 block Birch Street, 9:59 p.m.
(Here again...why didn't they just say, "family fight"? All the poor girl wanted to do was go outside and hang out with her boyfriend. But nooooo.... the mom said it was bedtime)

Mother reporting that her son was in a "rage", 300 block South O'Brien St., 9:53 p.m.
(O.k. look at the time in the one above...the daughter was mad at 9:59 and this boy was mad at 9:53. All he wanted to do was to go out and see his girlfriend, but he couldn't. So then he called and told her and that is when the mother-daughter fight began)

Traffic offense involving a subject "doing doughnuts" in a parking lot, Oak and Pine Streets, 7:53 p.m.
(Who in the world would be doing doughnuts in a parking lot? Although I believe that my husband was gone around that exact time....)

Report of toddler playing in the roadway, Buckeye and McDonald streets, 7:38 p.m.
(Helloooo! Where are the parents? Were they the ones doing the doughnuts?)

Disorderly conduct involving a male subject following a female and three small children, Fourth Street, 6:42 p.m. The complainant told police the male was fighting with the female.
(Just leave the poor woman alone! She didn't have any more beer in the fridge and it was his turn to buy it)

Theft of a black leather sofa from the backyard of a residence, 826 S. Lynn St., 11:37 a.m.
(Why was there a leather sofa in the backyard to begin with?)

Kitchen fire, 633 Euclid Ave., 10:27 a.m.The fire was out on arrival by police and fire units.
(All she wanted was to surprise her husband with a nice home-cooked meal!)

Report of a neighbor harassing a male subject over an incident involving a ferret, 200 block East Brown St., 6:51 p.m.
(Why would anyone own a ferret and why would you get in a fight over one?)

Theft of a lighter by a female, Circle K, 2119 E. Tipton St., 3:32 p.m.
(How else was the girl going to light up her smokes?)

Report of someone purchasing a television with a bad check, 1200 block West Tipton St., 11:31 a.m.
(Where were the Thias's at during this time?)

Harassment involving a female who threw nails in the driveway of her ex-boyfriend, 400 block Cornerstone Avenue, 9:23 a.m.
(Well if he would just have hung those pictures like she asked him too..then this would not have happened!)

Last but not least...

Suspicious activity involving two male subjects with black trash bags acting suspicious, 600 block West Brown Street, 1:25 a.m.
(What more can you say about this one?)
