Not So Nice

Well yesterday, I went into school to help Mrs. Kiel do a few things. I ran into the "not-so-nice" teacher in the teachers workroom. I didn't know who she was until after she left. O.k. I was trying to do a good deed by helping Mrs. Kiel copy papers, etc. There are other moms/ aides/ teachers that go in there all the time. There are two copiers in the workroom too. One is newer and that is the one that everyone wants! Then around the corner is the old one that most of them don't like. I have used it many times and I don't mind it. They all do the same thing anyway. Well, o.k., I broke the really nice one. Not really...it happens all the time. A paper got stuck and I opened that thing up and fixed it! Living with Dana has taught me how to fix things. (Aren't you so proud Dana?) But after I tore it apart and put it all together, spray painted it pink, put some crystals on it...and then it was working just fine. Well I had 24 copies of this one page that was copying on the "old" copier. Well I walk in there and the "not-so-nice" teacher is in there. She looks at me and says, "Are you copying these pages?"...I wanted to say "No dumba#$!" But I said nicely, "Yes I am." She then said, "Well how much longer is it going to be?" Then I wanted to say, "Don't know. I didn't take Copying 101 in college." but I didn't. I replied, "It's almost finished. It was like on copy 23 out of 24. So she said, "Well I hope so. I have kids in my class that I have to get back too". She didn't say it nicely at all. So then I said, "It's finished." I wanted to say, "Well if you were a little nicer then maybe a parent would help you one day. Plus maybe you should come in earlier or stay later and get those much needed important papers copied." What a grouch! There was another parent/helper in there who is soooo nice and never says anything about anybody. Well as soon as the not-so-nice teacher left....she let her have it! Too funny!
